How to Verify DNS Records
Complete guide to verifying your domain's DNS records for email sending.
Required DNS Records
After adding your domain, you'll need to add the following DNS records:
- SPF Record: Authorizes MaileniumAI to send emails on your behalf
- DKIM Record: Adds cryptographic signature to your emails
- DMARC Record: Protects your domain from email spoofing
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Get your DNS records: In the domain settings, you'll see the required DNS records with their values. Copy each record.
- Access your DNS provider: Log in to your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).
- Add SPF record: Add a TXT record with the SPF value provided
- Add DKIM record: Add a TXT record with the DKIM value provided
- Add DMARC record: Add a TXT record with the DMARC value provided
- Wait for propagation: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate
- Verify in dashboard: Click "Verify" in your domain settings to check status
DNS Propagation
DNS changes typically take 15 minutes to 48 hours to propagate worldwide. If verification fails immediately, wait a few hours and try again.
Common Issues
Verification Failed
Make sure you've added all required records and waited for DNS propagation. Double-check that the record values match exactly.
Records Not Found
Ensure you're adding records to the correct domain. Some providers require adding records at the root level (@) or specific subdomain.
