How to Add Sender Identities
Set up sender identities to send emails from your verified domain.
What are Sender Identities?
Sender identities are email addresses associated with your verified domain. They determine the "From" address that recipients see in their inbox.
Prerequisites
Before adding a sender identity, make sure:
- You have added and verified your domain
- DNS records are properly configured
- Domain verification status is "Verified"
Step-by-Step: Add Sender Identity
- Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings → Sender Identities
- Click "Add Sender Identity": You'll see a form to create a new identity
- Select Domain: Choose from your verified domains
- Enter Email Address: Enter the email address (e.g.,
noreply@example.com) - Enter Display Name: The name recipients will see (e.g., "MaileniumAI Team")
- Verify Identity: Click "Verify" to confirm the identity
- Use in Campaigns: Once verified, you can select this identity when creating campaigns
Best Practices
Use specific sender identities for different purposes (e.g.,
noreply@ for automated emails,support@ for customer service, marketing@ for campaigns).
