Contacts Management
Organize and manage your contact database efficiently with powerful tools for importing, organizing, and segmenting your audience.
Overview
The Contacts Management system allows you to import, organize, and manage your email contacts. You can create lists, apply tags, search contacts, and view detailed contact information.
Importing Contacts
Import contacts in bulk using CSV files:
- Navigate to Contacts → Import
- Upload a CSV file with your contact data
- Map CSV columns to contact fields (email, firstName, lastName, etc.)
- Select which list to add contacts to (or create a new list)
- Review the import preview
- Click "Import Contacts" to complete
CSV Format
Your CSV should include columns like: email, firstName, lastName, company, city, country. The email column is required; other fields are optional.
Contact Lists
Organize contacts into lists for better management:
- Create Lists: Click "Create List" to add a new list with name and description
- View List Contacts: Click on a list tab to see all contacts in that list
- Add to List: Assign contacts to lists during import or manually
- List Tabs: Quick navigation between "All Contacts" and specific lists
Tags
Use tags to categorize and filter contacts:
- Apply Tags: Add tags to contacts for easy categorization
- Filter by Tags: Use tag filters to find specific contact groups
- Tag Management: Create and manage tags from the contacts page
- Multiple Tags: Contacts can have multiple tags
Searching Contacts
Find contacts quickly using the search functionality:
- Search Bar: Type to search across email, first name, last name, and full name
- Real-time Results: Results update as you type
- Filter Combination: Combine search with list and tag filters
Contact Information
Each contact can store the following information:
Required Fields

Contact Status
Contacts have different statuses that affect email delivery:
- Active: Can receive emails
- Unsubscribed: Has opted out of emails
- Bounced: Email address is invalid
- Complained: Marked email as spam
Managing Contacts
Common contact management tasks:
- View Contact: Click on a contact to see full details
- Edit Contact: Update contact information from the contact detail page
- Delete Contact: Remove contacts from your database
- Add to List: Assign contacts to lists
- Apply Tags: Add or remove tags from contacts
Best Practices
- Keep your contact list clean by regularly removing bounced and unsubscribed contacts
- Use lists to organize contacts by source (e.g., "Website Signups", "Event Attendees")
